Inbox context

Not a rushed countdown,
but an inbox window you control

A download may take only a few minutes, while testing a signup flow can last for hours. QuickTMP keeps your temporary inbox aligned with the task while separating the address from your everyday email.

Keep receiving during the current task

Extend the same inbox instead of requesting another verification code before you have finished with the page.

Switch to a clean address when you’re done

Changing the address creates a new three-hour inbox and removes the old address from the current session.

Temporary inboxes and long-term forwarding,
with a clear boundary

Use temporary email for a one-time verification code; when you need ongoing notifications, sign in and create a long-term forwarding alias. Each address serves a different timeframe, so short tasks stay out of your everyday inbox.

Recovery boundary

Recovering a temporary address depends on what you kept

While it remains valid, the same browser can reopen the temporary inbox with its locally stored token. Once the address or token expires, or site data is cleared, knowing the address alone will not restore it. Use an authenticated forwarding alias for cross-device or ongoing delivery.

Short task: keep the current browser context

Do not clear site data while waiting for a code, and extend the inbox before the countdown ends.

Long task: choose a manageable destination early

If notifications may arrive days later, use forwarding instead of relying on an anonymous session.

Frequently asked questions

About long-term temporary email

Review the timeframe, recovery limits, and suitable uses before choosing a temporary inbox or long-term forwarding.

How long does a temporary inbox last?

A new inbox is valid for three hours by default. As long as the address remains active, you can extend it in the tool window. For a specific task, use the lifespan planner to estimate the right window first.

Can I recover my current inbox after closing the page?

The same browser stores your current address and access token locally, then restores the inbox context while it remains valid. It cannot be recovered after browser data is cleared, the token expires, or the address expires.

Is long-term temporary email suitable for important account signups?

No. Avoid it for financial, medical, work accounts, or services that require long-term account recovery. Use an email address you control permanently for those situations; temporary email is better for low-risk verification, downloads, and testing.

Why haven’t I received my verification code yet?

The sender may be delayed, the address may be incorrect, or the service may reject temporary domains. Refresh first and check the address, then use the email delivery troubleshooter to identify the issue step by step.
