Repeatedly clicking resend may trigger rate limits. Check the address, wait time, delivery status, and site policy in order to find the cause faster.

Start by checking the address spelling—don't resend immediately. Your inbox polls automatically, but you can also refresh it once manually.
Back to inboxA site's “sent” status only means the request entered its email system. During busy periods, a verification code may take several minutes to arrive; repeated resends can mix up old and new codes.
One extra character, a space copied with the address, or an old address left on the page can send the email elsewhere. Recheck the complete address shown at the top of your inbox.
Some platforms actively reject disposable email addresses. This isn't a refresh problem; for services you need to recover long term, don't try to bypass their restrictions.
After you switch addresses, later messages sent to the old address won't reach the new inbox. Finish handling any pending verification code before deciding to switch.
